Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka and it is well known as the Silicon Valley of India as it is India’s leading IT exporters as well as the ‘Garden City’ by virtue of its many parks, gardens, tree-lined avenues and abundant greenery . It is located between the western and Eastern Ghats and known for its pleasant climate throughout the year. The city also has a rich heritage with its historical association with the Wodeyars, Tipu Sultan and the British.

The capital of the erstwhile Wodeyar dynasty, Mysore, is no more than 145 kms away and makes for an interesting day-trip.
