How did you come to know about MyPad®?

We are looking for the conference management system to organize the AMPICON2015. We came across several options from abroad. I got a mail through the Institution about MyPad and that is how I came to know. 

How was your Abstract management is done Digitally and automatically by MyPad®?

It was done very easily since most of the options available are interactive type in MyPad. I first created a call for papers with the dates. The topics for the submission and grading form are created online so that the grading of the submitted abstracts can be done online without taking the pain of sending all the abstracts to the relevant reviewers as an attachment. This saved lots of time and work for me. Also this system is very efficient to handle multiple reviewer’s assigned topic wise. This whole process of paper review, Changing the status of the abstracts, Status of selections etc are done automatically.

In your opinion, how much time you could have saved (in%) compared to traditional method?

I can't quantify the time I saved but I could manage the whole abstract submission, review by reviewer and selection process single handedly.

Are you able to use Author or Delegate Invitation Letter and how did it help you in terms of time, effort and ease?

Yes, I was able to use almost all the features including customized communication to the authors.

How was the performance of Authors in terms of number of submissions received in line with previous years?

This time we had maximum number of submissions compared to previous AMPICON. Authors were happy since the whole processes were transparent.

How was the communication done to Authors / Co Authors?

I used only MyPad options to communicate to all the authors regarding the abstract status, selection etc.

Did the Author / Co Authors have exclusive right to see / edit their content with their own credentials?

 

Yes everyone had their own credentials and could use MyPad to edit the submission.

Why did not you consider any other platform / tool from Abroad or from India?

The main objective was to give preference to Indian company since we wanted to keep "Make In India". The only choice we had is MyPad

Did you satisfy with MyPad and willing to recommend for others as well as  your own?

Absolutely. I am very happy about the performance and it was very well appreciated by all the delegates attended AMPICON2015. This was the first time we did 100% automation and paperless conference.  

How was the service / Support rendered by MyPad?

The service rendered by MyPad was excellent and we did not face any major problem  for last 8 months.
